Tommy Lloyd has established Arizona as one of college basketball’s elite programs, built on winning, player development, and unselfish play.
Since taking over the Wildcats in 2021, he has authored the most accomplished opening stretch for a head coach in NCAA history, leading Arizona to conference championships, deep NCAA Tournament runs, and a return to the Final Four.
Now in his sixth season, Lloyd’s teams continue to pair offensive efficiency with championship expectations. His honors include 2026 Naismith National Coach of the Year, 2026 The Sporting News National Coach of the Year, and 2026 Big 12 Conference Coach of the Year.
Lloyd also holds NCAA records for most wins by a head coach through two seasons (61) and five seasons (148).
